PokemonCard Logo

PokemonCard was founded to easily allow users to create and share Pokémon decks. I strive to provide the best tools and resources to help players succeed in this.

I also wanted a functional and modern way to search the old 90s Pokémon Cards which have become very difficult to find online.

PokemonCard

PokemonCard is developed and maintained by Alan O'Connor. I am passionate about Pokémon and wanted to create a platform that would help players build and share their decks easily.

Message from Alan O'Connor - Founder

I started my development journey in 2016 when I launched YGOPRODeck. YGOPRODeck went on to be an extremely successful website in the Yu-Gi-Oh! community that I am extremely proud of to this day. Alongside YGOPRODeck, I also created DigimonCard, PokemonCard, GameTips, PSLegends and more.

PokemonCard was updated in 2024 to modernize the PHP codebase and improve performance. In 2025, I completely refactored the entire codebase to use the Laravel framework to make future development easier and more efficient. We also moved onto an MVC architecture to separate the logic from the presentation which will help maintain long-term code quality and maintainability.

I hope you enjoy using PokemonCard as much as I enjoyed creating it.
