Pokémon TCG revealed a future mechanic during the closing ceremony of the 2026 Pokémon World Championship by unveiling the ex★ series alongside the Legendary Beasts: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. Pokémon showed the official ex★ logo alongside the Legendary Pokémon Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, giving us our first tease of what’s coming next to the Pokémon TCG.

Pokemon also revealed Mega Lucario Z ex, marking the debut of Z Mega Evolution Pokemon alongside new Mega Attack Rare cards featuring Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Greninja ex, and Mega Zygarde ex. These cards are rumoured to be in the upcoming Japan High Class Pack set, which hasn’t been officially revealed yet.
