With rotation pulling Shining Arcana Gardevoir (Chilling Reign) from the deck, Gardevoir ex seems like it’s dying :/ womp womp. But with Temporal Forces coming out at the same time as rotation, there’s still some hope on the horizon from the unreleased set, Relicanth, Buddy Poffin, and ACE SPEC Hero’s Cape are here to help Ol’ Gardy hooray!

Relicanth (proxy: Relicanth) Allows you to use your Pokémon’s previous evolution’s attacks. One of the best options for gardevoir is Drifloon (Scarlet & Violet). A basic that evolves into a higher HP spread damage Pokemon, Drifblim (Scarlet & Violet). Now, Drifblim can use Drifloon’s attack for more damage, and still use Curse Spreading to deal damage any which way you please.

Buddy Poffin (proxy: Battle VIP Pass) is basically a better Battle VIP Pass for Gardevoir Decks. As it can be used on any turn, rather than just your first, and you only really need basic Pokémon with <70 HP, Buddy Poffin would still be used if Battle VIP was still here. RIP Battle VIP 😭😭😭

You might be thinking “But Drifblim only has 110 HP, so a maximum of 300 damage! That’s not enough!” That’s where Hero’s Cape (proxy: golden sparkly Luxurious Cape) and Luxurious Cape (regular Luxurious Cape) come in. They both add 100 HP to any Pokémon you want (But Hero’s Cape doesn’t add prize cards) meaning ‘floon’s attack can do a lot more than 300 damage, maxing out at 600 (but don’t do that unless absolutely necessary.)

You can also use Scream Tail and Radiant Heatran for additional Battackup.

That’s my take on a Post-Rotation Gardevoir ex Deck, with some odd add-ins, like Heatran and Relicanth.
