Topdecks_ Although that is normally the case. In this deck, onix happens to be the only basic. So it will be a mulligan until a valid hand. So that part is guarenteed. For the rest of the deck's strategy, you are trying to maximize the amount of 4 retreat cost pokemon discarded from onix's attack. So having a lot of them is necesary for the deck to work.
Interesting, but you should probably swap out the Delivery Drones for Energy Lottos to help fish out the energy, and maybe some Nest Balls to help grab some back up Onix if your active goes down
44 Pokemon? No way, I feel like the most you should have is 20 if you really need it, you aren't going to play them all anyway.
You could play energy loto instead of those trainers to find double turbo, and what happenes if your one onix is ko'd? You could play some nest balls to help prevent losing turn 2
also I think you can change the onus to the right one now
I don't think Topdecks_ gets it lol
However, I do think 44 is a liiil high, I'd drop it down to 40 or 38 or somewhere around there to make room for a few more trainers that could be useful. No idea what I'd add instead, I'll have to think about that more. Seems like fun :P
Super Rod/Miriam would be good here to recycle Pokémon after discarding them. Or, if you want to make this deck in the CG format, just have your one expanded card be Sacred Ash (Flashfire) lol. Love the deck concept!
