A Proper Goodbye (For now)

Hello everyone reading this, as the title says, this will likely be the last time you see me for a while. I'm aware that no one will likely see this for quite some time, but the reason I stopped posting decks over the course of my journey, was because it felt repetitive for me. After all, facing the same Meta Decks repeatedly can be quite tiring, as it may eventually become too predictable.

Hello everyone reading this, as the title says, this will likely be the last time you see me for a while. I'm aware that no one will likely see this for quite some time, but the reason I stopped posting decks over the course of my journey, was because it felt repetitive for me. After all, facing the same Meta Decks repeatedly can be quite tiring, as it may eventually become too predictable.

As I continued to test my decks, it affected my uploading schedule over time. For example, when I first started off last year, it was daily uploads, then that shifted to every other day, then to at least 2 decks weekly, and then to what it says in my Biography, whenever I feel like uploading. In addition to this, along with my increase in business in my personal life, I eventually couldn't find time to post decks, let alone get the motivation to post anymore. I apologize if this comes off as harsh to any of you reading this, but don't push yourselves too hard on decks like I have, it may lead to you losing motivation like I did. Deck building is really fun, especially testing it and eventually finding a build that works. 

I wouldn't have come this far without everyone's support and feedback as well. So, I appreciate each and every one of you guys, who helped me along my journey, those who viewed my deck, used my decks, read the descriptions, left feedback, basically everyone who helped me get to where I am in general. Without you guys, I wouldn't have been able to share my deck concepts, even though most of them were focused on Meta Decks, but the feedback that certain users have provided were very helpful at times. I would like to thank all of you as well, for helping me come this far on this website and for being such a kind and positive community. I am glad to see what this community has become and I believe it will continue to grow. 

For those struggling with deck building, try looking at specific cards to see what interests you most and look at how it can pair with other cards; that's what I did when I made off-meta decks after all. Furthermore, deck building takes time and effort, don't push yourself too much, as you may begin to lack motivation like I have. Despite what I said, Pokémon TCG is still a very fun and creative game, as there are thousands of cards out there and different formats, all of them are unique in their own ways, deck building is endless, and there are many decks that anyone can build after all! Also, if you're starting out on deck building, don't put yourself down if you deem your deck to be 'bad' or anything like that, it's not, it takes time to get better. We all have started out that way after all, and everyone gets better over time. Which is why I'm thankful to have come this far on this beautiful website. 

I hope to have inspired people to build and try their own decks, experimenting with them, and finding a build that satisfied them throughout my journey. Anyway, I hope all of you have a great day, afternoon, evening, or night and I wish good luck for everyone on this website and their lives. This won't be the end of LimeLemon though, as I'm only taking a long break for deck building, as I plan to occasionally be active on this website to leave comments on decks, forum posts, etc., and I will return to deck building some day in the future. With that being said, goodbye everyone.
