Ability Block... Melmetal

Don't like ability Pokemon? No me either...well not when there under my opponents control anyway. So if like me your tired of the same old ability Pokemon like Charizard and Gardy, why not try this deck. Whilst susceptable to Boss orders (like most decks) once you pop off with Melmetals Ignot Swing it can force your opponent into using resources they other wise can't afford to lose. With Scyther as pivot as well as Pidgeot V the deck can outlast many current Meta format decks. Utilizing the Forest

Utilizing the Forest Seal Stone Pidgeot combo can get you that advantage and Turn 1 set up with TM Evolution and Vip combo ready to power up Melmetal in one turn with Houndooms Single Strike Roar Ability. 120 Damage with 2 Single Strike Energy and Abilty Lock sounds good too me. Best thing is Ignot Swing shuts off ALL attacks from Pokemon with an Ability not just Rule Box Pokemon forcing the Boss or Catcher Plays. The Deck also utilizes Scizor to polish off those Ability Pokemon for a single energy allowing for a nice clean up inthe mid-late game. Double the Punishment for having Abilities. 

Disadvantages: Can be slow to build up with a poor opening hand. Lack of draw support can hinder consistancy however there are smart plays that can be played to rectify this more often than not. With only 1 Rod in deck the choice to play 3 Houndoom is a must whilst only needing 2 houndour (Heavy Ball plays) can hinder the set up aswell. So maybe finding room for that Third Houndour might be a shout. Can Brick Easily due to the Types of Single Strike Cards needed for the deck to function such as Urn of Vitality and VIP cards being useless if theres no energy in discard or its past your first turn. 

Advantages: No heavy Reliance on one Single attacker, Easy to Power up once board state is established and No 2 Prize Liabilities (Given Pidgeots Ability) Low Cost energy Attacker in Scizor and Enough Single Strike Options to keep some sort of consistancy throughout the game provided your board state is established (such as Tower of Darkness & Bruno)
