So the idea is to ideally draw the battle VIP pass on my first turn with a basculin or even a palkia V. Even if i pull the manaphy or greninja first, the battle VIP pass will give me the ability to grab the palkia V. Since the battle VIP pass can only be used on my first go, they then become cards that I can use as cards to discard for an ultra ball. This leads me to my next stratergy. The ultra ball requires me to discard two cards, and with the abilities in my deck i can use energy cards to do this. If i discard an energy for this, the palkia Vstar ability will let me regain those energy's, but i can also use cards like melony or nessa to complete the same process.

Since Palkia Vstar has it's only attack at a low of 2 energy's, it will enable me to attack very quickly whereas other decks might take a couple more turns to get their ideal setup. The attack relies on the amount of bench pokemon, both mine and my oppenents, so cards like sonia and irida will help me quickly put basic pokemon on my bench, letting me do a minimum of 160 damage if my bench is full. Greninja also backs my stratergy as it can do quick damage in the early game, dealing 90 damage to any two of my opponents pokemon. However, this attack has me discard two energy's, which is fine since I have cards in my deck that can easily return those energy's.

The tool cards are just there as support cards which will boost my health or attack. For example i've kept the choice belt in the deck since the meta these days are pokemon v's which is reflected in my own deck. Adventure bag also lets me search for any two tool cards, which will be chosen depending on the situation i'm in. Manaphy protects me from chip damage from attacks such as greninjas done to my bench so that I can always have a full bench, as basculin has fairly low health but will take up space on my bench, which is what i want anyway.

I've made this deck IRL so there may not be as many as some cards (I want an extra adventure bag and choice belt but i dont have any in my collection) that i would like but there are also cards like the weakness guard and recycle energy instead of a basic water energy card becuase i happened to have them lying around and they have fairly useful abilities. If i do buy and add the cards i want, water energy's  would be taken out as i don't need as much as i have for this deck.

Is there any way i could improve this deck further?

Should I buy the cards I want to improve my deck further with?

(Some cards are not in the standard format but i'm only going to be playing at local comps for fun and stuff so I'm sure they won't be checking)
