Maybe add some super rods? So you can get those dreepy back...
My bad I didn't see the rescue carrier lol
@ Dawgs-on-top:
No problem! I thought about the rods too, but the carriers are great for letting me get them right away, whilst the super rod adds delay. I'm thinking about getting some trekking shoes in there to dump my psychics a little faster, but I'm not sure what I'd remove. Maybe Gengar?
And I was thinking about Rabsca's revival blessing attack to bring in Dragapult without having to evolve a dreepy (and be more psychics in the deck for houndstone)
Hi! I think this is a pretty neat idea, but I see many ways to improve the list, let me give you my thoughts:
- Zoroark is the definition of pointless, you can only use it to transform into Drakloak. Maybe you misread the ability and thought it could transform into Dragapult? In any case, a good add could be the Kirlia (Silver Tempest) line, which serves as a draw engine for more consistency and can power up Houndstone's attack.
- Now that we are talking about consistency, you are lacking draw supporters. Standard decks run around 8 or more and aim to always have at least one in hand because they make your deck more consistent. Professor's Research (Shining Fates), Iono (Paldea Evolved), and Colress's Experiment (Lost Origin) are the most popular ones; some single prize decks also use Cynthia's Ambition (Brilliant Stars) and Bruno (Battle Styles), since you expect your active to get KO'd almost every single turn. Also Boss's Orders (Rebel Clash) is not a draw supporter, but it's also essential in almost every deck.
- Now you are probably wondering what you can cut to make space for all those supporters, These are my suggestions: Rescue Carrier (which is cool, but maybe 4 copies is too much? Especially considering you also run 2 Klaras), Pal Pad (If you make good use of your supporters, you should not need it), Gengar (this card is good for decks that need a benched pokemon with damage counters on them for a secondary effect, as an attacker it's not really worth it), and Defiance band (only affects damage dealt to the active pokémon, so it doesn't power up Dragapult. You can have 1 copy if you think Houndstone really benefits from it).
And that's it. As a fellow quirky deck enjoyer, I would love if you kept upgrading this deck and building more like this, even if you made some mistakes, I think you will get better with time. I'm guessing this is your first or one of your first decks, so if you need any further feedback or don't understand something I said, feel free to ask away!

I'm pretty much testing the waters, but zoroark is there to transform into drakloak or houndstone. The drakloak would be to evolve into Dragapult without having to stack on top a dreepy, meaning that I could reach 4x 100 with Dragon Launcher (or more consistently 3x 100). I'm thinking about using Rabsca (Paldea Evolved) to directly bring in dragapult, but this takes an action instead.
I have 2x Iono and a Pal pad, but I totally forgot about Prof.Research! I intend on focusing on dumping stuff in my discard pile to feed my Houndstone EX and have a lot of fetch for the pokemon. Rescue Carrier is in there to have more chances of getting back my dreepy for more Dragon Launcher attacks, but I can certainly drop one. Gengar was put there only for the easy recursion, but it can easily be put away. Though, I want to reach 300-330 damages with houdstone so I need some more psychics to feed it. I thought about Pal Pad thinking that it could help mitigate the pokestop mill.
I'll do a few tweaks and see how I can fit Prof Research in there and possibly Kirlia. It's not my first deck. I have a few IRL that I test at casual tournaments near my place, but I hate how the meta limits the game to a handful of staples. I usually play jank MtG (EDH) and find the pokemon tcg to be much MUCH more limited in terms of deck-building variety, though I am trying to improve my deck-building skills. Thank you for the encouragements and tips, I will keep posting my jank on here since it lets me work on my special interests (TCG) without having to buy the cards everytime I want to try something.
