Tyranitar & Alakazam ex (Post-Rotation)

Strategy: Go second to use either Budew or TM: Evo earlier on to either item-lock your opponent or to get Rabsca and Kadabra/Pupitar into play. Grand Tree helps get  Alakazam ex into play early on or Tyranitar. Mimikyu acts as a wall for ex Pokémon when needed and you can either use its attack or Alakazam's. Rabsca helps protect against things like Dusknoir and Dragapult ex. Hero's Cape helps make Tyranitar or Mimikyu a bit tankier. Anyways, feel free to make any

Matchups:

Charizard ex: Grand Tree is pretty risky against this deck as they could also take advantage of Grand Tree. Though, by item-locking them with Tyranitar they get item-locked or you can wall the Charizard with Mimikyu. Overall odds are a 45/55.

Dragapult ex: Try and also not let them take advantage of Grand Tree here, although, the item-lock with Budew or Tyranitar does make them go even slower. Rabsca blocks the damage from Phamtom Dive and Dusknoir's explosion, do be careful if it's still a rellor. Mimikyu as a wall works pretty well too if you have Rabsca in play as well phantom dive is effectively useless and Alakzam's attack three shots it. Overall odds are 45/55.

Gardevoir ex: Item-lock them with Tyranitar, Grand Tree is fine to use in this matchup. You don't really need Rabsca unless Scream Tail is in the active, Alakazam pretty much sweeps all the single prizers as well. You don't need Mimikyu for this matchup at all unless you want to wall Clefairy ex. Overall odds for this matchup is 35/65.

Archaludon ex: Item-locking them with Budew or Tyranitar make it pretty hard for you Opponent to get started, Grand Tree is pretty good to use here since Archaludon cannot use its ability if they decide to evolve it that way. Later on Mimikyu can wall them while you slowly kill them with Alakazam. Overalll odds are for Hop's Zacian Build is 30/70, the odds for the Poison Box Build is about 40/60.

Raging Bolt ex: Item-lock them with Tyranitar or Budew to slow them down, then later on if they can attack with Raging Bolt just use Mimikyu to wall them. Alakazam two shots Raging Bolt. The odds for the Teal Mask Build is 35/65, while the Iono's Bellibolt Build is 30/70.

Gholdengo ex: Item-lock them to slow them down and cannot use Energy Search Pro. Defeat the Dreepy's or Drakloak's or Gimmighoul's later on with Alakazam. Grand Tree may be risky. Mimikyu does wall the builds of Gholdengo such as normal, Dudunsparce, and Pult. The overall odds for the normal build is 25/75, Pult Build is about 35/65, and the Dudunsparce is about 20/80.

Miraidon ex: Go second to prevent an early attack, you don't need Rabsca, Grand Tree is pretty safe to use here as the only staged Pokémon they'd have is Magneton or Magnezone ex if they run it like my build does. Use Artazon to counter Area Zero Underdepths. Item-lock them with either Budew or Tyranitar and slowly kill their Pokémon with Alakazam. Do also be wary of the single prizers getting Amp you Very Muched on. Overall odds are 40/60.

Budew Froslass Box: This is a rough matchup, Munkidori can KO Budew to stop an item-lock, Froslass slowly damages Mimikyu and Tyranitar. Alakazam does still knock them out insantly. Target the Froslasses and Munkidori's. Overall odds are 55/45.

N's Zoroark ex: This may also be a tough matchup. They can potentially Boss Up Alakazam and KO it. Tyranitar and Budew can item-lock your opponent though, Mimikyu does still wall Zoroark, though, Darmanitan can defeat Mimikyu. Overall odds are 65/35.

Wall Deck: A matchup in your favor as Cornerstone still takes damage from Alakazam, Farigiraf isn't immune to it, Milotic is also useless due to Alakazam not being a Tera Pokémon. Only minor threat is Mimikyu but you can just KO it with your own Mimikyu. Slow them down with Tyranitar and Budew as well. Overall odds are 20/80.

Feraligatr: You won't need Mimikyu that much. Knock out the Relicanth as soon as possible. Rabsca protects agaisnt Munkidori, Grand Tree is kind of risky as they can get Feraligatr up. Alakazam does slowly defeat them and if they use Mimikyu just use your Mimikyu to defeat them first. Overall odds are 45/55.
