What about Atticus over iono and adding pecharunt (not ex)?
Thanks for the ideas! Atticus seems to be really fitting for Brute Bonnet's poison. However, Iono is intended as a card for disabling the opponent in the endgame. At the start, you really want to play Arven to get the secret box. In a bad case, you can still play Iono at the start. That potential for disabeling the opponent is most likely the reason why she is in so many tournament decks.
I haven't found a non-ex pecharunt. It's intended to keep the deck clean of ex-pokemon, since I don't want that one to get sniped. Do you mean an other pokémon?
This deck is more serious than most of my other decks, which are for playing a chill round without "meta cards" like Iono or Buddy-Buddy Poffin. However, I imagine it's a lot weaker than normal tournament decks since it should be hard to get enough energy cards for Raticate.
I play something very similar to this that kind of evolved from a tsareena ex deck I'm not sure which is better between her and raticate they both have highs and lows and i dont know why this site doesn't have the non ex pecharunt available anywhere but it is worth looking into
Ah, I see, yeah, Tsareena Ex hasn't got the downside, that it needs enormous amounts of energy cards, and with Perilous Jungle it's still a one-hit.
I have found the Pecharunt. Actually a great card, if you can't do much at the start, together with Brute Bonnet that are already 60 damage even without energy cards, plus you can get it with Artazon. I think it's not in here, since it only appeared as promo cards.
