Deck Primer

"Lunar Surge: Ancient Shadows" is a deck that combines poison damage and discard pile strategies. The main plan is to use Brute Bonnet with Ancient Booster Energy Capsule to start poisoning the opponent's Pokémon. Radiant Hisuian Sneasler then increases this to three poison counters per turn, ramping up the damage quickly. At the same time, the deck uses PokéStop stadium to put cards into the discard pile. This serves two purposes: powering up Roaring Moon's attacks and providing Fighting Energy for Sandy Shocks ex to reattach from the discard once per turn. The deck also includes three Paradox Pokémon - Gouging Fire ex, Raging Bolt ex, and Walking Wake ex - which use Luminous Energy to attack with different energy types. Sableye helps by searching for any Trainer card when needed. This combination of poison, discard manipulation, and diverse attackers gives the deck multiple ways to adapt and win against different opponents.

You could use Night Stretcher to get back any pokemon you discarded and Battle Compressor to search out more cards to discard. Guzma and Hala Tag team are also good to search out stadiums and special energy.

I'm curious as to how fast this gets cards into the discard pile to work. This seems pretty cool!
