What Does This Deck Do?

- The purpose of this Deck is to turn your opponent's Ability Pokémon against them with the use of Alolan Vulpix VSTAR, with both Arceus VSTAR and Espeon VMAX in support.

How Does This Work?

- A.Vulpix VSTAR's attack "Snow Mirage" is the answer. It's attack is:

a.) Unaffected by any affects of the opposing Pokémon.

b.) Makes A.Vulpix VSTAR immune to damage from Pokémon with Abilities.

b.) Makes A.Vulpix VSTAR immune to damage from Pokémon with Abilities.

How Do You Get The Energy Out Quickly For It?

- By using a combination of Cryogonal Radiant Greninja (Updated 06/09/2023), Melody Cards and Rare-Candied Baxcalibur.  These should help you get Energy out quickly. Worst Case Scenario, Arceus V & VSTAR can also assist in this.

Okay, But Why Espeon VMAX?

- Espeon VMAX's Ability makes any of your pokemon with Energy immune to any of your opponent's Attack effects, so I find it to be a very useful tool and another layer of protection.

What's Stopping My Opponents From Just Using Boss' Orders?

- 3x Words; Leafy Camo Poncho. These tools will stop your VSTARs and VMAX from the effects of your opponent's Support cards that target them specifically, and if your opponent's end up trying to use Boss' Orders on one of them, the card becomes unaffected and the opponent's end up wasting their 1x Supporter Card for that turn.

Why Is There a Tympole/Palpytoad/Seismatoad?

- (Removed from Update 06/09/2023)

What Does The Perfect Setup Look Like?

- A.Vulpix VSTAR in the Active Spot with 3x Energy if there is an opponent's Ability Pokemon up front, an Arceus VSTAR with 3x energy up front for any high HP Pokémon, or even utilise a 3x-Energy Baxcalibur for any V-Immune Pokémon that the Opponent has. Espeon VMAX, whilst reserved to Support, can be utilised as well, as i also added 1x Psychic Energy just in case. Use any Leafy Camo Ponchos on any VSTAR or VMAXPokémonyou see fit. (I tend to prioritize Espeon VMAX first for these).

What Are the Cons To This Deck?

- As I stated, this Deck only works against Pokémon with Abilities, so A.Vulpix can be very vulnerable should a "Path to the Peak" Stadium Cark in play, or non-Ability Pokémon like Arcanine-ex. Hopefully, the use of "Lake Acuity", "Town Store" & the "Worker" cards should help you eliminate these threats. Also, the Leafy Camo Ponchos only work on VMAX and VSTAR Pokémon, so your Vs are exposed until you evolve them. Hopefully, the "Town Store" and "Arven" cards can get these out for you, as well as the "Adventurer's Discovery" to get your VSTARs out quickly too.

A big Thank you to miraidon & AlphaNova for the useful recommendations! The ideas of an extra Arceus V/VSTAR,  replacing the Crygonals for more Baxcaliburs and the addition of Radiant Greninja were a really big help!

The changes you made to the deck are very good. Definitely recommend your deck too.

A copy or two of Path to the Peak could actually be useful here, since Vulpix VSTAR doesn't have any abilities, but it's up to you.

I'd also swap in a copy of Radiant Greninja (Astral Radiance) to combo with melony and to deal with those pesky single prize decks.

I originally had Path to the Peak in the deck, but I found it to be a very Double-Edge-Sword for me, especially since A.Vulpix VSTAR's thing is to be played against Ability Pokémon.

Path to the Peak does neutralise Abilities, but it also makes A.Vulpix VSTAR vulnerable to attacks again from said Ability Pokémon.

The Radiant Greninja though is a hood idea. I'll trial it out.
