I find that in Expanded, counterbox decks don't work unless they're explicitly control decks. Most of them like to tech answers for the most popular decks in the meta (of which, there is one, sort of), like Pokemon Ranger against ADP, Girafarig for greedy Lugia/Regidrago VSTAR players, and a general Bench Barrier user (Mew is probably the best one anyways, as it can place some extra damage counters to fix math, and is usable in every deck). Because of this deck's need to counter absolutely everything, it leaves very little room for the core strategy, and Iron Hands can be quite inconsistent from my usage. I'd suggest refining the strategy to include techs for the most popular decks, and not everything (unless you're makinga control deck, which this is not).

CountyGibbon798 Ye ur first statement is very true. reflected in my deck description too.
Your statement abt control being more optimal is def. correct. Same with ranger (tbh I forgot abt ADP since absolutely no one used it during any recent locals) Honestly just gonna make an entirely new deck at this point.
Also ur right abt Hands being inconsistent. Its not the worst, but certainly not the best. During playtesting, I couldn't even get enought regieleki to KO most double prizers, eventually leading to losses.
Tysm for advice! 🥰🥰🥰
