Sorry if I'm not seeing it, but what is the exeggcute for?
The Exeggcute is useful to have in your discard pile in case you want to Quick Ball with 0 discard or Ultra Ball with just 1 discard. When you are trying to get your hand to 0, but also trying to get big combo turns together, not having to discard can sometimes be really good.
