Tweak to meta Arceus VStar/Duraludon VMAX deck. Shuts off special energy and effect-heavy decks. Espeon VMAX seals off Yvetal, Raikou, etc. Duraludon blocks any attacks when opponent has special energy attached. Arceus accelerates energy.

Deck has four Arceus V, two Duraludon V, and one Espeon V to increase the odds of drawing Arceus to start to accelerate energy. Consistently able to get VStar and two VMAXs in play by turn 2-3. Starbirth almost guarantees it if Ultra Ball and Evo Incense alone

Deck has four Arceus V, two Duraludon V, and one Espeon V to increase the odds of drawing Arceus to start to accelerate energy. Consistently able to get VStar and two VMAXs in play by turn 2-3. Starbirth almost guarantees it if Ultra Ball and Evo Incense alone aren't enough.

Biggest difference from meta deck is Espeon VMAX. Benching one instead of a second Duraludon VMAX still ensures that your opponent will still have to take 8 prizes to win the game. But gives you a more varied defensive strategy and another attacker. Really strong against Lugia and other special energy based decks. Lugia VStar cannot attack Duraludon VMAX without Path down. Yvetal cannot attack period with Espeon VMAX in play unless Path is active.

Deck includes two Switches and a Rope to move attackers to and from active. Four QBs and four UBs to find basic and evolution cards. Two Collapsed Stadiums to condense benchs and force your opponent to discard valuable attackers/supporters. Two Pokegear 3.0 if supporters aren't being drawn consistently. Deck is heavily built on Marnie and Research to draw cards. One Boss, plus two Serena gives you versatility with another draw supporter or game finisher. Mustard isn't as important in this deck as the meta since you're only going to run one Duraludon VMAX. Could be swapped for another supporter, Lost Vacuum, or third stadium card. Rod used for energy retrieval if forced to discard some earlier in the game. Heavy ball in case Espeon V is prized since the deck only runs one.

Deck has no major weakness. The two I've found are not drawing Arceus V as the starter. Requires finding a Switch or Rope to get it in the active quickly. Other isn't as difficult to manage, but energy must be distributed carefully. Especially the fighting and psychic energy. Only runs two fighting, down from 3-4 with the meta. Compensates by adding one Single Strike Energy so that Duraludon VMAX can hit with 270 with a Belt, enabling one hits for many VStars decks and those running standard Vs with Cape of Toughness.
