Arceus/Regidrago VSTAR

Deck Goal: Deck is focused around setting up a Regidrago Vstar by either using Arceus V/VSTAR, Gardenia, Leafeon V, or itself.  Once a Regidrago VSTAR is set up and attacking it is able to copy the correct attack for the correct situation.  With so many options availiable to it, Regidrago VSTAR can cover nearly all options and can have multiple surprise plays depending on what dragons you decide to include.

Strategy: Try to accelerate 3 energy onto a Regidrago VSTAR using a combination of Arceus's Trinity Charge/Nova/Starbirth/Gardenia/Leafeon.  Once a Regidrago VSTAR is in play and is fully setup, switch to attacking with it copying the correct dragon in the discard for the current situation.  Duraldalon lets you hit a clean 220 and goes through things like Miltank or damage resists like Goodra/Radiant Gardevoir.  Giratina VSTAR lets you hit a massive 280 damage and combos very well with Gardenia/Double Turbo.  Goodra VSTAR lets you have an effective 360 hp and deals with 1 prize decks incredibly well. Finally Appletun lets you deal with certain decks that play lots of special energies like Lugia VSTAR. If you didnt use Starbirth to help setup you also have access to Legacy Star which allows Regidrago VSTAR to mill 7 and get any 2 cards back from discard.  This combos notably well with Serena and Gardenia while also allowing you to recover combo pieces in the later game.   Radiant Gardevoir changes many numbers by allowing both Arceus VSTAR and Regidrago VSTAR to have an effective 300 base hp.

Strengths: Immune to being stalled by cards such as Miltank. Benefits from being milled occasionally.  Almost auto wins against single prize decks due to their below average damage output and its ability to tank by abusing Goodra VSTARs attack.  Regidrago VSTAR has no type weakness and Arceus VSTAR has cards that remove its own weakness.  Incredibly simple to play once set up. Big Parasol makes attacks such as Giratina VSTARs/Amazing Yveltal/Regice much less threatening and covers many rogue stratagies or outright makes them useless such as Sableye or Weezing.  With the reduced 80-120 damage Goodra VSTAR offers to Regidrago VSTAR it has an effective health pool of 360-380.  The deck tends to not to rely on its benched pokemon after a certain point which can help it in many matchups.  Radiant Gardevoir is constantly providing a passive damage reduction to all pokemon.  With access to every dragon card in format, it has the ability to change/tech for things that other decks simply cannot deal with.  The deck can only get better over time with cards that copy attacks from the discard being historically very powerful.  With Serena being so strong in the deck it isnt uncommon to win by using Serena nearly every turn

Weaknesses: Has issues with decks that can reach extreme damage numbers early on. Decks that have effects that can bypass damage resistance or outright knock out pokemon without dealing damage are troublesome without the use of Big Parasol.  Relies heavily on an early VSTAR power so early ability lock is strong against it.
