just my two cents but I prefer to run Lumineon V over squakabilly just in case you don't get them on your first turn, and wind up with a bum card. also doesn't go to waste if you have a opening hand filled with stuff you don't want to discard.
Even if you go first you can also optimize your supporters by only running 1 Carmine (2 if you're paranoid about prizing it)pulled out with lumineon and swap the rest for Professor's research for the 2 extra draws.
Not sure what you'd swap it for (maybe 1 of the Pokémon catchers, which I'd trade over for counter catcher personally since you often are behind in early game with Arch), but 1 copy of Thornton is great for getting the fragile two prize that is Squawk/lumineon off your bench in exchange for a discarded Duraludon. Since the swap keeps the "turns in play" of the previous Pokémon, you can [often] immediately evolve it to an Arch, making this a nice combo for the turn you use Scoop up if you have enough energy in the discard. He's also nice for returning your greninja if it gets KO'd early
