By worse, I mean BETTER! Coming in our Mega sets, we'll be getting a new Gatorade card, which effectively acts as Electropower but for Fighting Types. This makes Marshadow-GX a perfect partner, as it can copy attacks from Basic Pokemon you have in your discard pile. Latios-EX has the attack Fast Raid, which can be used even if you're going first for a quick bout of damage. Pairing it up with Marshadow, Gatorade, and all sorts of other damage boosters, you can pick up a cheesy win if your opponent

Pairing it up with Marshadow, Gatorade, and all sorts of other damage boosters, you can pick up a cheesy win if your opponent gets a bad start before they even get to have a turn!

I considered adding the upcoming Venture Bomb card from Destined Rivals to this, which does 20 damage if you win a coin flip, but I figured Iron Valiant ex is more consistent. Let me know if you can make any suggestions!

And yes, like all donk decks, you almost always lose if your opponent starts with 2 Pokemon or if they go first. Luckily, since the damage ceiling with all of the boosts is 300 (310 if they are using a V), it shouldn't matter how bulky of a threat they place down, so long as there's only one of them. If they start with multiple small guys, like for example a Bunnelby (Primal Clash) engine deck, Iron Valiant will help a lot with picking off one of the small Oddishes or the likes they may have started with. Although since the latest official Expanded Tournamant showed the MASSIVE meta share Regidrago has, expect a lot of those. Have fun!

i want to play a donk in PTCGL, but the cards are always like from 2006 or '7. i wasn't even alive back then. i showed my friend Andrew my physical Shiftry donk deck. he was like, "i can beat this ez". 2 seconds later: "how did you beat my Mega Gyarados?!".

I could actually make this deck IRL, i have most of the cards. i just need sky field, acro bike, bycycle, and pluspower

although no donk deck will ever work on James, cuz he has this OP Gengar deck that is like unbeatable. his goal is to always start with 3 or 4 pokemon. it uisually works. i dunno how he does it.
