Base-Rocket deck where the goal is to set up a Wigglytuff sweep while using Mankey to gain information about your opponent's hand and draws. It isn't super beginner friendly since knowledge of the format and typical play patterns are what unlock this deck's potential. These things are not required to get off the ground with it however, so don't be discouraged by this. At the end of the day it is just a Do The Wave bonk! bonk! Wigglytuff list, that simply wants to make the game as unfair for your opponent as it can.

Inspiration for this list is attributed to Jason Klaczinski's Blog - Wigglypeek. https://jklaczpokemon.com/base-fossil-decks-2/#wigglypeek

Try this strategy if you like the sound of: frustrating your opponents by making sure most of their draws are limited to only Pokemon, energy, and un-impactful trainers they don't need; while you are able to play around the few impactful plays they can pull off. If this sounds good, then this may be the deck for you!

Rocket's Sneak attack and Lass can be used to gain near-perfect information, while also forcing the re-randomization of your opponent's library if you happen to spot a threatening card like Oak or SER on top. It should go without saying, those cards are also good at simply taking those cards out of their hand before you drop your DCE on Wigglytuff and move to start bonking the daylights out of them.

Tips:

Start using Mankey on your prizes first while you set up your bench and get ready for what I like to call 'The Big Turn'.

'The Big Turn' is what I've found to be one of the most effective ways to pilot this deck, and it happens shortly after you've Peek'd at most of your prizes (or the signals I describe after this just fall into place). It looks alot like this: Jigglypuff is ready with an Energy the turn before and 2-3 of the following are in hand; Wigglytuff, Oak, Lass, Rocket's Sneak Attack, and DCE. Evolve into Wigglytuff once you have that DCE or an Oak ready, set up a full bench, Lass or Rocket's Sneak Attack your opponent so they can't ER your Wigglytuff, then drop the DCE on it and begin the assault. Once this is going, spam Mankey's Peek to look at their top card so you have perfect information about their hand and draws! Extra Mankey activations can be used to continue sniffing out any of your still unknown prizes or on their prizes if you fear a potential KO.

Prioritize your prizes thoughtfully after KO's and place your energy according to what is most important based on the tools you know they have.

Don't get greedy and Oak to speed it up unless you know you can end the game or you don't have Lass/ RSA/ Itemfinder in hand to manipulate their draws. If your sweep is already in motion, just maintain the course and preserve what is left of your deck while you control and monitor the top of their deck.

Placing an extra lightning energy onto Wigglytuff if you have spares can help when dealing with the threat of Energy Removal.

I highly recommend having a notebook to write down what is in their hand any time you gain knowledge of it. Flip this notebook upside down so they don't know what you know, and cross off cards as they play them.

Mankeys may become a target of gusts by your opponents since they give so much information and are weak, but this is honestly ok and part of the reason Nightly Garbage Run is in the deck. While they are focused on denying you information, you are freed up to just play a Do The Wave strategy without the fear of having a Hitmonchan strike first on a gusted Jigg/Wigg. They will also be punished for this later on when they are unable to use gust to close out the game.

Electabuzz is an excellent secondary attacker that can play to slow the pace of the game or deal heavy damage, just remember that it too is weak to Fighting. If you get gusted into Electabuzz and have it's energy stripped- it is best to wait for a Switch or let it die instead of paying to retreat.

Matchups That Stink

Most notably this deck plays well against 'stall' since stall is heavily reliant on specific trainers and alot of turns to function. Since you are controlling which trainers they have access to and dealing damage quickly, it's only natural they may struggle to keep up. Bear in mind an oak that you can't prevent can likely change it all.

The strategy can be mildly interrupted by decks that play Kangaskhan, as Fetch will allow you to only gain information on 50% of their draws.

Hitmonchan and Dodrio-based decks can prove difficult to overcome at times but are in no way unbeatable.
