Deck Primer

One of the things this deck struggled with to begin with was getting the pieces you need, and charging up enough energy to attack.

Pokemon

Pikachu / Raichu was the main focus of this deck, so it stays the core

Removing Chansey as it's high energy dependence and doesn't add a lot

Blitzle / Zebstrika worked well as a line, you could attack with a single energy on the first turn, evolve and do 120 damage on the 2nd turn with and attach and a 3rd turn attach can get a consistent 100 damage.

Electabuzz / Electivire requires a lot of energy to get going. I found in all instances I'd have rather had a Blitzle / Zebstrika.

Tauros works fine to tank for a couple of turns and call for family

Adding Zapdos (optional) as I pulled it from a pack, and it fit the ballance plus was a good option to counter a GX

Trainer

Shifting the ratio a little more away from drawing towards searching

Bug Catcher can make way for Volkner, grab an energy and an item into your hand - this also lets us reduce our energy count

Pokemon Fan Club is just a bad use of a supporter

Using Level Ball (for Pikachu and Blitzle) and Evolution Incense for their evolutions instead of hoping to draw into them

Switch can help keep that energy in play

Adding a couple of Raihan to help accelerate the next attacker after knockout - even though this might be a little bit of an advanced card for the deck
