A bait and switch? I loik it
Ur_Usual_Demon46 Thank you!
I tried to make bait swicth but fail so bad
Ur_Usual_Demon46 I'm sure you could do it. This deck is a bit gimmicky anyway.
I suggest adding the houndoom line for extra consistency. And also remove a gengar v and vmax.
pokeregidrago That's sounds pretty good. My only issue with that is that if either is prized, it becomes useless. I don't really want to substitute anything out for a 2/2 of houndoom and houndoor either. From what I've seen, there hasn't been too much of an energy issue in this deck.
I do think I could remove 1/1 of Gengar v and vmax tho so I added an extra Beedrill and Weedle.
I would agree, 3/3 is best for gengar, but no real room for houndoom in here, although it's a good idea.

Man, this is a cool idea. I think it could be a little better with Forest Seal Stone (Silver Tempest) because you don't have a vstar power in here and this could make this more consistent. I would run 2. Have you considered setting up better for Single Strike Style Mustard (Battle Styles)? You could put into play any of these pokemon, and you wouldn't need to run as many weedles and beedrills. The best way to reduce your hand for Mustard would be with Ultra Ball (Fates Collide), which could allow you to set up an additional attacker. Lastly, I think 3 Boss's Orders is too many, simply because you run a 2-2 line of Umbreon.
You say that this is a gimmicky deck but I think you may be onto something competitive.
MindTrickNick I ave considered Mustard! My only issue with relying on it more heavily is how inconsistent it is. I like running the one of, but I feel like it would make the deck struggle a little if I tried to specifically set up Mustard. I do like that Forest Seal Idea though. The only reason I ran 3 Boss with Umbreaon is because you need one or the other for this to work, but I think Forest Seal stone is a great change as I can just grab a Boss if needed. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll swap out a Boss.
I also removed a Marnie cause I like Bruno better for this deck.
the funny thing for this deck is that the best counter is a beedril XD
haalandagoat That's one way to go about it! XD
What about adding radiant Eternatus to make room for more trainer cards? I think you'd be able to cut down to 1 each of Gengar V and Umbreon V.
TannTown Umbreon has to evolve in order to use its ability so Eternatus doesn't work. I can see its use for Gengar V, but it would only be cutting down 2 cards.
Eternatus would also take up bench space when it isn't useable anymore. I could maybe swap the Gengar V for some Urn of Vitality, but if Eternatus is prized, then it becomes useless and I won't be able to play Gengar VMAX at all.
Stumbled across this deck, and there's now a more consistent way to get Mustard active, but it would involve heavy changes to this deck. Altaria from evolving skies (I think) lets you search for a supporter and put it on top of your deck, and Skwovet (Scarlet & Violet) resets your hand and draw a card, securing a one-card-hand Mustard. Not saying that you should do this, but I thought that it was worth mentioning.
