Big Wings Balloons

This is an aggressive tempo deck that looks to dump pokemon with United Wings into the discard pile (best pokemon to ditch is Dartrix, since we don't play any copies of Rowlet to put it into play) and jam using Ditto. This is an aggressive tempo deck that looks to dump pokemon with United Wings into the discard pile (best pokemon to ditch is Dartrix, since we don't play any copies of Rowlet to put it into play) and jam using Ditto. The deck usually likes to go second in order to try to donk the opponent on turn one, but we have Carmine in order to mitigate the restrictions of going first. Battle Compressor is the best card in the deck by far, as it can also ditch Squawkabilly to combo with Rescue Stretcher or in niche cases, find Carmine to combo with our one-of VS Seeker. Canceling Cologne is necessary to prevent Klefki or other ability-lock hate cards from locking us out. Bursting Balloon is a very good damaging card that deals extra damage when our low-HP attackers inevitably get knocked out, and I chose Deluxe Bomb as the ACE SPEC over Brilliant Blender because I valued the extra damage and staying power of Deluxe Bomb, but you could run Blender for even more consistency if you want.

A possible substitution is Tapu Koko for its Flying Flip attack and free retreat. I'd cut one Bursting Balloon or Guzma for this, and maybe change up the energy to include an extra Double Colorless Energy over a Powerful Colorless Energy or Hiding Darkness Energy. This deck doesn't really have a good way to hit the bench without Koko, but Koko is easy fodder for decks with a lot of big basic pokemon that don't really get hit by Flying Flip. This card is also based on preference, but I don't run it because I find the bench damage isn't always relevant.
