Blastoise ex (Destined Rivals)

Quite an underrated deck to run even though Blastoise ex has a decent attack.

Strategy: I'd suggest going second with this deck. Anyways, for your first turn, attempt to get out 2 Squirtles, 1-2 Pidgey's, Shaymin (If needed), and Budew (if going second or if you don't plan on using TM: Evolution). Strategy: I'd suggest going second with this deck. Anyways, for your first turn, attempt to get out 2 Squirtles, 1-2 Pidgey's, Shaymin (If needed), and Budew (if going second or if you don't plan on using TM: Evolution). Anyways, Budew's Attack, Itchy Pollen, is a good way to slowly set up your board whilst item-locking your Opponent which can help lead the way to your victory, alternatively, you can choose to use TM: Evolution if you want to get out your Wartortle(s) and Pidgeotto. Furthermore, when your Blastoise ex is finally established, you should  have your Energies for your Attack prepared by then, and by using Twin Cannons, you can deal 140/190 (Agaisnt Pokémon ex) without discarding Energies or you can do 280/330 (Against Pokémon ex) Damage by discarding 2 Water Energies from your hand, which is able to OHKO most Pokémon excluding Pokémon over 340 HP or Pokémon with 240 + 100 more from Hero's Cape, though not many decks in the current format even run a Pokémon with 340 HP and Hero's Cape isn't always ran. You should be able to recover your Energy after using Twin Cannons due to 4 Energy Retrievals being ran which may be quite high and could probably be swapped for Superior Energy Retrieval if preferred. Anyways, Pidgeot ex is quite the useful partner for Blastoise ex, as it's Ability, Quick Search, allows you to get any Card out of your deck into your hand, which is insanely useful especially since it can help combine into Blastoise ex in many ways. Moving onwards, Shaymin protects your Bench from Pokémon like N's Darmanitan, Wellspring Ogerpon ex, and Blaziken (Destined Rivals) Snipe Attacks being primary examples, though do note that it doesn't block Damage Counters from things like Dragapult ex, Dusclops (SFA), and Dusknoir (SFA). Damage Counters are its own thing so do keep this in mind when playing against those cards. Artazon is here to help search for your Non-Rulebox Pokémon which is especially helpful when under an item-lock or in the Early Game. The ACE SPEC of choice, Maximum Belt, should be quite self-explanatory as it helps increase Blastoise's Damage Output and Exp. Share helps keep your Energy into play if Blastoise ex or another Pokémon in the Active with an Energy in play is KO'd. - 3 60 HP Squirtle's - This is generally not recommended to add but it's good to use if the 70 HP Squirtle's are too expensive since they cost 400 Trade Credits each on PTCGL.

- 3-2-2 Line of Baxcalibur - Helps with getting your Blastoise ex to attack a lot quicker but isn't really needed since the Attack is cheap to use.

- 2 Chien-Pao ex - Better to run Chien-Pao as its own deck but only add this in if you play on using Baxcalibur.

- 2-2 Revavroom Line - Good Draw Engine and a Replacement Draw Engine for the Bibarel Engine which was lost after Rotation.

- 2 Munkidori's - More so focused on a Tank Build but can be decently helpful.

- 1 Cleffa - Grasping Draw is quite helpful for Early Game draw support.

- 1 Wellspring Ogerpon ex - Quite a helpful backup attacker especially due to the sniping capabilities and sob lock.

- 1 Turo's Scenario - Helps reset a Blastoise ex.

- 2nd Night Stretcher - Provides more recovery options.

- 1 Super Rod - Provides more recovery options as well.
