Deck Primer

This is a deck made under my own custom-made format, where you use one type of expanded card in an otherwise all-standard deck! For this deck, I chose Kiawe. I highly engourage you to make your own decks in this format!

With the combination of Kiawe and Charizard, you can effectively accelerate 8 energies at once, making for a 220 damage very early on with Entei's Blaze Ball attack! Or, if you're feeling lucky, Torkoal is also there! Pretty good for a single-prize

With the Burn Brightly ability, you also don't need to wait for your opponent to take a lot of prize cards to consistently attack with Radiant Chaizard! Happy trolling!

kiawe is good, but it does end your turn, maybe welder instead

Marco_Ne I was contemplating on either Welder, Kiawe, or Blacksmith, but I found the idea of an effective 8 energies too enticing. I definitely can replace it, though.

I'm not sure welder is better with acceleration, but going second you can attack, and it's good draw that you can use in every turn of the game which will help you keep up with the opponents.

Marco_Ne It all comes down to "do you want to attack first with lower power, or attack later with huge power?"
