i get hiiiigh on your Neo Upper Energy (Temporal Forces) 🔥🍃💯

I really wanted to figure out a deck that uses Skeledirge ex (Paldea Evolved) and Venusaur ex (151) - ended up trying to make a build that lets them rotate often with Big Air Balloon (151) to take turns healing each other.

First thing you want to do as soon as humanly possible is get Pidgeot ex (Obsidian Flames) up and running, you're a little dead in the water without it since you really need to be able to search specific cards here

Venusaur ex (151) is your primary early attacker, so get them evolved and energized next. Toxwhip anything you can, and heal up past ay damage you take. Attach a Big Air Balloon (151) to pivot it out for extra time to heal up if you can.

Bring in Skeledirge ex (Paldea Evolved) later to avenge a fallen Venusaur or do a big bomb of damage, then if it gets hit too hard attach a Big Air Balloon (151) or use Switch to rotate it out and use Venusaur's Tranquil Flower, Radiant Tsareena (Silver Tempest)'s Elegant Heal and Saguaro (Paldea Evolved) to heal back up.

KEEP IN MIND YOU CANNOT GET FUECOCO FROM Buddy-Buddy Poffin (Temporal Forces)! This is another reason I get Venusaur going first, since poffins can get Bulbasaur and Pidgey. You can probably start out with Skeledirge if you want, but you may need to add in some more nest balls or maybe Clavell (Paldea Evolved). I mostly opted not to because I wanted to keep as many poffins as possible to get Pidgey ASAP.

I included Relicanth (Temporal Forces) and Ivysaur (Pokémon GO) so that Ivysaur's Summoning Aroma can be used to grab any 2 pokemon even after it evolves into a tank, which can help set up for Skeledirge after it or Pidgeot if you're still struggling to find/evolve it. It also lets Pidgeot use Pidgey (Obsidian Flames)'s Call for Family if you need it, and lets Skeledirge use Crocalor (Paradox Rift)'s Rolling Fireball for a bit of damage+energy conservation if it gets hurt too much to bring Burning Voice under 90 damage.

Venusaur (Pokémon GO) is really helpful with it's Loopy Lasso ability, letting you skimp out on some Boss's and Counter Catchers and trapping opponents with sleep. This and Venusaur EX's Toxwhip makes Atticus (Paldean Fates) an option for this deck as well, but I find it's not as consistent as I'd like.

Skeledirge ex (Paradox Rift) helps boost damage by a good amount, giving Venusaur's Toxwhip 210 base power and full health Skeledirge's Burning Voice a whopping 330. Can also kill mimikyu/aegislash!

Neo Upper Energy (Temporal Forces) lets you attack much quicker with Venusaur or Skeledirge in 1-2 turns, and Luminous Energy (Paldea Evolved) lets Lumineon attack and recycle itself

Lumineon V (Brilliant Stars) to get Arven>Poffin/Nest Ball/Ultra Ball/TM Evolution/Rare Candy>Pidgey/Pidgeot as soon as possible, Poppy (Obsidian Flames) to move around your Neo Upper Energy, Roseanne's Backup (Brilliant Stars) to get it and your Air Balloons back, or whoever else you need.

Iron Leaves ex (Temporal Forces) for a quick emergency swap/snipe.

Magma Basin (Brilliant Stars) helps get energy back at the cost of some chip damage, but it's also pretty easily healed away with Tsareena etc. Be aware that it can only attach energy to fire pokemon specifically though, so ymmv.

OTHER OPTIONS

Hero's Cape (Temporal Forces), Prime Catcher (Temporal Forces) or Hyper Aroma (Twilight Masquerade) if you find Neo Upper Energy (Temporal Forces) to be unecessary

Mela (Paradox Rift) gets energy out of discard and helps with draw power

Technical Machine: Turbo Energize (Paradox Rift) might be able to make up for not having Neo Upper if you skip on it

Clavell (Paldea Evolved) can grab Fuecoco and Relicanth where Poffin can't

Professor Turo's Scenario (Paradox Rift) to grab things off the board and deny prizes

Perrin (Twilight Masquerade) helps get the mons you need when you need them, but might be redundant with Pidgeot and Ivysaur

Atticus (Paldean Fates) can utilize poison from both Venusaurs if you can time it right

Teal Mask Ogerpon ex (Twilight Masquerade), Dodrio (151), Bibarel (Brilliant Stars), Mew ex (151)+Skwovet (Scarlet & Violet) etc if you want a different draw engine than Pidgeot

Mantyke (Paradox Rift) if you need more healing

Altaria ex (Paradox Rift) and Altaria (Silver Tempest) same as above - my original draft leaned on these for Humming Heal and Magical Echo, but there just wasn't enough room to keep them in

Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking (Temporal Forces) is basically always good, but a little obsolete with Pidgeot

Cook (Twilight Masquerade) if you want slightly more healing on a single mon instead of slightly less on 2
