Spread damage to your opponent's side of the board with Koffing + Roxie combo then attack twice with TM Blindside + Barrage Torchic to knock out several of your opponent's Pokemon in one turn.

An obvious weakness to this strategy is going to be opposing bench protection Pokemon such as Mr. Mime and Manaphy.

Chip damage from Koffing, Cofagrigus, Radiant Alakazam, and even your own bench protection, Mew, can eventually K.O. those low HP threats in a pinch to let Torchic target whatever it would like. Even if that means gusting with Guzma or maybe an Escape Rope and using your first Blindside to target the bench protector, then using the second Blindside attack to target something else.

Crisis Punch was added as a "Why not?" pick, but has some very useful applications, especially in combination with Cofagrigus, which can knock itself out.

Some playing notes:

- Early game notes: Try to go second so you can play Roxie + Koffing combo if it is available to you. Doing so lets you easily prize map if your opponent has played several Pokemon onto their bench their first turn. Using weezing, you can put 1 damage counter on each of them so you can hit them with Blindside. If you end up going first, Try to set up your Yamask's on the bench and get a Torchic or two into play. If your opponent is playing an aggressive deck, don't leave Torchic or Yamask in the active. Hide behind something non-essential like Azelf or even Ditto. Do NOT play any Koffing onto the bench, even if it is to hide behind. The draw support and damage spread from Roxie is way more benficial, even if your active happens to get knocked out before your second turn.

- Mid game notes: First thing to know: you are going to get knocked out. A lot. The goal of this deck is to just knock out your opponent...more times? The strategy of this deck requires you to take multiple prizes per turn. This is usually accomplished by targeting 2 different Pokemon on your opponent's bench with Barrage Blindside. Even if you get K.O.'d, you still took 2 prizes and your opponent only took 1. Rinse and repeat for 3 turns and you win. You lose by not removing several of your opponent's Pokemon from the field each turn. This can happen by not having a second Torchic on the bench or at least in hand. Minun and Fezandipiti as well as Teammates can help you get the cards you need back into your hand.

- Mid game notes: As a last resort, Tapu Koko can act as a backup attacker to do 20 damage to each of your opponent's Pokemon. This card fills a specific niche if you have been really applying pressure with Koffing + Roxie and Radiant Alakazam. Remember- bench protectors completely shut this Pokemon down, only allowing you to hit your opponent's active Pokemon.

- Mid game notes: Setting up Torchic from hand to be able to attack is fairly reliable. With Magma Basin, Torchic can sit on the bench, recieve a basic Fire Energy from the discard, recieve a Double Colorless Energy or Twin Energy from the hand, recieve TM Blindside from the hand, then go into the active spot and cause chaos. This may seem like a lot, but while setting up your first Torchic, you can make all of those cards easily accessible via Battle Compressor in junction with VS Seeker, Rescue Carrier, and Ditto.

- Mid game notes: As mentioned before Minun and Fezandipiti are extermely helpful when recovering from your active Torchic being K.O.'d, allowing you to draw 5 cards at no cost. Roxie also allows you to draw 6 cards if you discard 2 Pokemon with it's effect. By using Exeggcute's ability, you can always have 2 Pokemon to discard this way, in case you don't have Koffing in your hand.

- End game notes: Always having a Cofagrigus on your bench seems to be really strong, allowing you to apply damage to an unscathed target without attacking as well as forcing your opponent to take prizes. A good rule to follow is: if you don't desperately need it, don't pop it. Using one, or even two, Cofagrigus at the end of the game may allow you to pop both within the same turn. This gives you massive end game control. Firstly, you get to put 3 damage counters on 2 different targets (possibly causing a K.O since most meta cards in this format have low HP). Secondly, is combos with TM Crisis Punch and Barrage to deal a whopping amount of damage (twice!) because you may be able to alter how many prizes your opponent has taken. This means, theoretically, if you can pop one or both Cofagrigus, you could pick up a K.O. on anything 60 HP or less remaining (for the sake of argument, let's say you get 1 prize out of this.) That forces your opponent to take 1-2 prizes depending on how many Cofagrigus you popped. If it is towards the end of the game, you can probably appropriately allocate giving those prizes to make your opponent have exatly 1 prize remaining. This is why it's worth it- You can attack for 280 damage with Torchic to (most likely) K.O. their active Pokemon (again, for the sake of argument, let's say you get 1 prize out of this ((although it is noteworthy that it is possible to K.O. most ex Pokemon (((all with the help of Cofagrigus pop))), all V, and all VStar Pokemon.)) With Barrage, you get to attack a second time so you could repeat what you just did and take another prize or two. To sum up, you could take up to 6 prizes this turn since you could theoretically K.O. three 2-prize Pokemon. In a realistic situation, you have a high chance of getting at least 2-3 or even 4 prizes, depending on the deck you are playing against. And to think, this isn't even the deck's main strategy!
