Blissey/Miltank

Blissey V (Chilling Reign)  has quickly become a rising star in the current 2022 Standard Pokemon TCG format. The inclusion of Miltank from the new Astral Radiance set has given Blissey the tools needed to compete with these top tier V, VStar, and VMax decks.

Blissey V (Chilling Reign)  has quickly become a rising star in the current 2022 Standard Pokemon TCG format. The inclusion of Miltank from the new Astral Radiance set has given Blissey the tools needed to compete with these top tier V, VStar, and VMax decks. 

The main goal of this deck is to discard energies in order to attach them to Blissey and OHKO your opponents pokemon. With discarding energies being the goal, there are a plethora of ways to do so. Discarding energies can be done by Radiant Greninja (Astral Radiance)  ability, Professor's Research (Brilliant Stars) , Zinnia's Resolve (Evolving Skies) , and Quick Ball (Fusion Strike) . 

Miltank's contribution to this deck is that it provides an undamagable wall for most competitive decks while you energize a blissey on your bench. 

Cape of Toughness (Vivid Voltage)  is perhaps my favorite card in the deck as it gives Blissey the extra little bit of HP necessary to survive almost every attack in the game. Afterwords, you can quickly heal Blissey back to full with the use of Hyper Potion (Champion's Path)  or Cheren's Care (Brilliant Stars) .

Morpeko (Shining Fates) is a potential card to run in this list and is the counter to your counter in this deck which happens to be Duraludon VMAX (Evolving Skies) Duraludon's ability makes it to where literally nothing in your deck can hurt it. However, Duraludon does have a weakness. The fact that it only has one attack means that Morpeko can completely lock it out of the game. At that point, you are playing the mill game as neither of you can hurt the other.

Lastly, I'd like to talk about my inclusion of the one of Tool Scrapper (Rebel Clash) . This is in the deck simply for Choice Belt (Astral Radiance) removal. Choice Belt is such a played card in the format right now that it can greatly increase your opponents chances of knocking out your Blissey before you have time to recover it.
