This is not a competitive deck, it's a budget one that you can play at your kitchen's table!

Hello folks! Here is me again with another budget deck for you that want to play the game at your kitchen or just teach your children without spending tons of money. Today I'll bring my version of baby Espathra. The goal of this deck is to use/discard at least one Tulip so you can hit hard 140 damage using only two energies.

Turn 1 your goal is to set up your table as fast as you can. Mew is here to help you out on this task, so whenever it's possible, you should open your game with it. Battle VIP, Nest Ball and Fog Crystal are your tools to achieve your set up. You want to have in your bench Skowvet, Natu and Bidoof as fast as you can, since they will be the engine that will make your deck works. And, if possible, of course you'll want to have Fittle at your table too.

Turn 2 and on you should evolve Bidoof into Bibarel and Xatu into Natu. But don't evolve Fittle into Espathra unless you need to. A key engine of this deck is that, when you put Espathra into play, it doesn't suffer any effect from your opponent next turn. And that includes damage from attacks, making it virtually invencible for a turn. So here lies the key mechanism of the deck: Accelerate energies with Xatu into your Fittle on your bench and move it to the Active Spot. Evolve Fittle into Espathra and hit them hard while they can't hit back for a turn, making your pokémon a hard to kill.

Use the combo of Bibarel + Skowvet and Arven to find the cards that you need to develop your game. Tulip helps you to recycle your energies and your pokémon as you need them, with a side effect of making your Espathra hits harder. Energy Switch sinergies well with Xatu's abilities, so you can move your energies around to set up better and Rigid Band can give your Espathra some defense after her ability is off.

So that's all for today. I just wanted to bring a simple and fun deck that is easy to use and cheap to build, since in my LGS there are some people who can spend much money on building meta decks (and it's no fun to play a Charizard Ex agains a out of the bulk deck, is it?). So we have a little side league for fun where rule box pokémon are not allowed so these people can have their share of fun too. And that is the deck that I used at our last rogue tournament, so I wanted to share this with you guys. I had a lot of fun playing it. Hope you enjoy it too.

Thanks so much for reading until here and that's all for now. Have a great day.
