Deck Primer

The idea behind this deck is to get at least the 2 Pyroar and 1 Centiskorch in your bench using some of the Trainer cards. Then, attach a Burning Scarf to any other Pokémon that can't cause Burn with their attacks so your opponent's Pokémon can get Burned when they attack you. This will cause at least 4 counters between turns plus not being able to get cured if they flip a coin resulting in heads. This is my oldest son's deck that was built 4 days ago. It has been tested against 6 decks (3 fire-type, 1 electric-type, 1 dark-type and 1 psychic-type) so far and it has won against all 6 decks. It's been fun to play this deck. As there's always room for improvement any comments and/or suggestions are very welcome.

Of course you are the expert here so you probably know better than me, but I read at the wording of Pyroar and it says: "Put 4 counters instead of 2".

I'm pretty sure if you play 2 Pyroar, it won't add 8 damage counters on the Pokemon. It is not a question of stacking or nor, it simply that it says to place 4 counter INSTEAD of 2. If you could use two Pyroar to add 8 counters, it would have been written "Put 2 more damage counters", just like the poison with Toxicroak (Sword & Shield)

I never played the card so I can't say for sure, but that's what I think.

But great idea, I have an Heatran deck with Centiskorch to have a permanent Burn, and Pyroar would be a great addition!

Correct, it is 4 counters instead of 2. Some people use damage and counters interchangeably but the slight difference is that Damage applies Weakness and Resistance while counters don't. As for being stackable, haven't read any official ruling yet as it's a fairly new card but, that's a great observation. I hope we can get clarification soon.
