This deck is built around burn damage stacking, using Magma Surge to slowly wear down opponents while staying safe on the bench. Magmortar is not a frontline attacker. Instead, it fuels Incineroar EX and other threats while piling up damage each turn.

Early Game:

  • Pidgeot EX ensures you always have the right card for your setup.

  • Buddy-Buddy Poffin helps fetch basics like Litten and Magmar quickly.

  • Technical Machine: Evolution speeds up evolutions, especially for Pidgeot EX or Incineroar EX.

  • Counter Gain will improve energy efficiency for clutch Incineroar EX plays.

  • Vitality Band pushes damage just over KO thresholds when needed.
