Deck Primer

This deck uses Persian to make all its attacks free, then uses a combination of Quick Shooting and Blow-away Bomb to place damage counters onto opposing Pokémon so that Espurr can clean up and take KOs against those prepared Pokémon. Thanks to Persian, it can get away with running just 4 Capture Energy, which are used for their secondary effect primarily, it also plays only Pokémon worth a single Prize, giving it an advantage in the Prize race.

This deck is one of a total of 15 decks I've built to play with my friends. It's from a format I call BST+, which is the TEU-BST format we actually had, plus Sabrina & Brycen as well as the Japanese set S5a, which was pushed to CRE in western releases. There might be an article on here detailing the thought process behind this format in the future.
