Always start second so you can irida or Arven to find Battle VIP. Besides that it's really just about getting blastoise up and surviving long enough to mill lol

Charizard only works on basic fire, though it's a cool deck counter energy would also work well

Cool idea, though if this isn't for Live Expanded (Squirtle is from a BW set) your supporters are kind of whack. Archie's Ace in the Hole would allow you to get Blastoise out on turn 1, and you could theoretically nix Diancie entirely for Regirock (XY Black Star Promos) and Ninja Boy to get around effects that turn abilities off.

Reversal of energy does not work on the moltres, only evolutions
