Teammates would be a good card here, since you're practically guaranteed to be KO'd every turn. Though it detracts a little from the Cursed Message strategy Ditto (Pokémon GO) can copy Spiritomb's attack and hit 250, enough to OHKO Terapagos ex, Gouging Fire ex, Miraidon ex, and Pikachu & Zekrom-GX (and you could tech in a few Choice Belt to OHKO Regidrago VSTAR and Lugia VSTAR, if you wanted), and would let you tech silly cards like Shedinja (Vivid Voltage) in here. You could also consider a one-of Spiritomb (Chilling Reign) to chase KOs and for a generally better matchup into Mad Party type decks.

Paisley Park, After Dark  Oooh, I haven't seen that Ditto before... I love that strategy though, and it would definitely work well with this for sure 😄

Teammates is a new one for me as well, I guess there's no harm in running that over Arven

Paisley Park, After Dark  Honestly there are a lot of different pokemon and even just spiritomb that you could run with the Ditto, it makes for a very versatile attacker. However, I think for this particular deck I'm just gonna stick with the Chain of Spirits one because I like it's ability for if I get stuck with him turn 1 as a basic and need to sac him, I at least get a card of my choice out of it.

Paisley Park, After Dark  so the problem with Teammates over Arven is that Teammates gives me too many brick starting hands because I can't use it if my pokemon isn't KO'd, and then if I get stuck with 1 basic and it dies I still won't get to play it because I will have lost already. Just from the testing starting hands, this happens more often than I want it to.

That's understandable. In Expanded it's pretty common to run only one or two of each Supporter in your deck, since you can discard them with Compressor and fish them out of the discard pile consistently with Vs Seeker, so I meant moreso just teching a single Teammates alongside your Arvens for a more powerful comeback tool.

ok so after some testing I found that the biggest issue is the lack of energy accelleration over time. To mitigate this, I have decided to add the EXP share and Hoopa. This will allow me to accellerate that little bit of energy that I've been lacking. These changes still need further testing however.

Also since my table isn't playing with much bench snipers, I'm taking out Mew though I understand that they are very popular in the format
