Deck Primer

This is my chandelure deck. Chandelure seems very strong to me, doing 130 damage and another 50 damage for each energy in the opponent's retreat cost. With dragapult as the BDIF, clefairy is usually a must-have in every psychic deck, although I have not included it in this. This is because it is very easy to OHKO dragapult since it already has one retreat cost. With chandelure's ability it becomes 2 and the damage is 230. From this you only need 2 more retreat increasers. This leads me to lampent.

From this you only need 2 more retreat increasers. This leads me to lampent. lampent helps with setup quite a bit. You always want to keep 3 bench spaces open for lampent's attack, putting 3 lampents from your deck directly onto your bench. While this may not seem too strong at first, you have to realize chandelures ability stacks and powers it's attack even further. This deck relies on petrel to get the cards it needs, and is very much benefitted by team rocket's factory. We also include energy search because petrel can use it to find energies. Thank you for reading all this and have a great time playing this deck.
