How to use the attacker

Charizard ex serves as a great attacker. With an ability to accelerate energy very fast to all of your Pokemon, including itself. It can deal massive damage for small amounts of energy, but there are some things that need to be fixed for it to reach its maximum potential.

Pidgeot ex serves as the best possible draw mechanic to support Charizard ex. It maximizes the Rare Candy in your deck so it is easier to find.

How to use the attacker

Charizard ex serves as a great attacker. With an ability to accelerate energy very fast to all of your Pokemon, including itself. It can deal massive damage for small amounts of energy, but there are some things that need to be fixed for it to reach its maximum potential.

Pidgeot ex serves as the best possible draw mechanic to support Charizard ex. It maximizes the Rare Candy in your deck so it is easier to find. Rare Candy is required to evolve Charmander and Pidgey into Charizard ex and Pidgeot ex. Pidgeot ex also helps you find the exact card you need when you need it, which is almost required to help Charizard ex preform at its best.

Jirachi seemed better than Manaphy in this case. They both prevent different types of bench damage, and I chose Jirachi to prevent any benched Pokemon from Vespiqueen ex, which seems to be a great Charizard ex counter right now. Mimikyu also serves as uhh... somewhat protection as it can stall as you get your Pokemon ready for the best Charizard ex counters.

Squawkabilly ex and Lumineon V serve as draw mechanics for when you're in a pickle. Squawkabilly ex can help you a lot on your first turn to get a good new hand and possibly get some more Battle V.I.P Passes. Lumineon V can search your deck for a supporter when you need it. Make sure to never put these Pokemon onto your bench when Path to the Peak is in play, and Pidgeot ex can help discard that while doing damage. Make sure to use Double Turbo Energy to charge it up faster! Just don't let it get knocked out as that will make it harder to get the cards you need. Squawkabilly ex and Lumineon V also serve as great things to discard when Avery is used or Collapsed Stadium is put into play. Reminder - Never use a trainer to put Lumineon V on your bench as its ability won't work.

Radiant Greninja serves as a good draw mechanic so the extra energy in your deck have a little bit of use, and can be taken back into play fast with Candela or Magma Basin. Wyrdeer V serves as a backup attacker that can be charged up as soon as you put it into the active spot.
