This Charizard deck focuses on using Charizard's Continous Blaze Ball attack to do 30 damage plus 50 more damage for each Energy attached to Charizard. You have to discard all of your Energy cards to attack. We run 1 Blacephalon-GX as a backup attacker in certain situations. We run 1 Mr. Mime to protect our Bench. The main strategy of this deck is to go first, Bench 2-3 Charmanders, attach an Energy to a Charmander and pass. On turn 2, this is when we Rare Candy evolve to Charizard and start attacking

Hi, this deck is really interesting and seems rather powerful as well. I was wondering, what is your opinion on using Volcanion from unbroken bonds, and have you considered maybe playing fiery flint? Also, is 2 Giant Hearth enough, seems a little risky for me. Lastly, I believe that the Roaring Resolve ability searches energy from the deck. Is there any way to get energy from the discard pile into the deck? Thanks!

CorvusVision, thanks for the comment! I replaced the Volcanion from Steam Siege with the Volcanion from Unbroken Bonds since the Unbroken Bonds one does seem better. I added in Energy Recycler to get Energy back into the deck for Charizard's Roaring Resolve Ability. I have considered maybe playing Fiery Flint but with the deck space being somewhat tight I will not be putting it in just yet. 2 Giant Hearth is enough in my opinion because we now run Volcanion if we have to go second and Computer Search can search it. Thanks for the suggestion, I built this deck with minimum knowledge of the Expanded Format since I have not played Expanded since Battle Styles came out!

I also do not have much expanded knowledge! But I think this deck has a lot of potential, as it is almost self sustaining, meaning it can rely on itself to set up, and it can also trade well with other expanded decks, having the potential to OHKO multi-prizes Pokémon. If I had these cards, I would be playing this deck already. Nice work!
