What do you swap Battle VIP Pass for? Buddy buddy Poffin does not work well enough I think, so maybe full set of Nest Balls? ALso why Turro's Scenario?
GilGalad111 you can absolutly do that, i just figured that you with buddy buddy you can expedite the baxcalibur and Bibarel engine quicker, and for the turo, its the specific case that you would want to stack up on some Irida or some Boss's Orders. you scoop up the lumineon and essentially get to use its ability again without the need to place energy on it and use it as an attack. I actually found a bit of success in during one turn in the chane you have Lumineon V in your hand and Turo, placing Lumineon V to search for the supporter and then picking it up with Turo to then go right back to placing it on your bench to select another supporter. early game that setup is broken for the upcoming turns.
I like this deck. I modified it so there is Buddy-Buddy Poffin (Temporal Forces) instead of Battle VIP Pass (Fusion Strike) as that was an H card. I took out one Bidoof (Crown Zenith) and Bibarel (Brilliant Stars) to add 2 more energy. I find that I just use Shivery Chill then Super Cold. I also replaced 2 Superior Energy Retrieval (Paldea Evolved) with Earthen Vessel (Paradox Rift) because it was cheaper.
Pastaface156 I think acquirring two Superior Energy Retrievals should be relatively easy so I would not recommend cutting them, because your energy refills would be limited to 3. If you take into account the Greninja discards or general Energy discards 3 is low in my opinion. The Earthen Vessels probably take the place of Energy Search.
ImpulsiveBee8 Buddy Buddy gets you the Bax-Bib engine early but it is no use for Chien-Pao and Greninja, in a version I'm currently testing in Pokemon Live I use 3x Buddy Buddy, 4x Nest Balls and 3x Ultra Balls, which seems to work. I believe Chien Pao will be a meta deck post rotation as the key components are there, but due to limited tutorring of Pokemon on the bench (Battle VIP Pass rotating) the Palkia will probably be cut.
GilGalad111 ...no reason for pinging u, just like when people are online :)
GilGalad111 I agree I'm really keen on seeing Chien-Pao ex win a regional. after testing a bit on Live, I think I've come to the conclusion that palkia really isnt the best for the deck. However, I still think the deck needs another attack in the chance someboy running a anti-meta deck. I am implementing using a Iron Hands ex as well as adding a lightning energy or two. Its just such a fantastic card. I also have been looking at the upcoming deck with the Tera Greninja ex, there could be some usage there.
