A standard Chien-Pao ex deck with Palkia VSTAR as an alternate attacker and energy acceleration engine. This was made to be an easy adaptation for combining the Chien-Pao ex deck and Palkia VSTAR deck to make a powerful and consistent water type deck. Manaphy protects our Frigibax and Baxcalibur from Radiant Greninja, and Bibarel is a powerful draw engine, as well as a reason to include the legendary Pokémon Bidoof. You can use the Bidoof that comes in the Palkia VSTAR box, but this one is better. You could also run just 2 Chien-Pao ex (-Chien-Pao ex) and add something like a Klara (+Klara) to recover Radiant Greninja and Manaphy in case they get knocked out, or another Chien-Pao ex. Your goal should be to immediately get a Baxcalibur ready to fuel Chien-Pao and Bibarel ready to draw water energy, as this deck lacks a way to directly search energy. Setting up a Palkia VSTAR is never a bad idea, as star portal can come in clutch, as well as Subspace Swell being a powerful alternative to Hail Blade when taking down a less bulky Pokémon in order to save your water energy and superior energy retrievals.

This is a rather boring decklist, but it is a solid foundation for a deck built on the Chien-Pao ex deck and the Palkia VSTAR League Battle deck. If I missed something really important or really obvious, please leave a comment.
