Tapu Bulu is one of my favourite pokemon especially in the TCG and I wanted to make a version of the deck that aims to be as consistent as possible at not only setting up but also making sure you can consistently attack with Bulu every turn.

The idea is that you can use some of the best support pokemon like Dedenne gx and Crobat V to draw into your combo pieces and then use Jirachi to find more specific cards like Energy Retrieval which has been great in testing so far and it started off at a 2

Tapu Bulu is one of my favourite pokemon especially in the TCG and I wanted to make a version of the deck that aims to be as consistent as possible at not only setting up but also making sure you can consistently attack with Bulu every turn.

The idea is that you can use some of the best support pokemon like Dedenne gx and Crobat V to draw into your combo pieces and then use Jirachi to find more specific cards like Energy Retrieval which has been great in testing so far and it started off at a 2 of and then i just kept adding more copies because of how good it was at letting Bulu attack every single turn. In your first turn you should be looking to set up as best as you can (ideally with Jirachi) to making sure that the following turn you can evolve Cherubi into Cherrim to get the deck going.

Some of the ratios are still being tweaked but this version of the deck felt the best cause of how many options i had to get to my pokemon, for example we play 2 jirachi but we also play 4 quick ball and 3 level ball so its very easy to get that stellar wish going on your first turn, similarly I only play a 2-2 Cherrim Line but that was plently beacause of how much search power you have in the deck, I never felt like I needed more and allowed me to play more consistenty cards. 2 Rod is a must  play because if your cherrim gets KO'd, but its mostly there to make sure you have plently of attackers throughtout the game even if you prize a Bulu, its also pretty bad if you see it early into the game and have to discard it. Kricketune V is a card considered heavily but chose to add an escape rope for now instead because 4 draw pokemon felt like a lot and the rope was nice for switching/gusting however post rotation it will probably make its way into the deck.

As for Tech cards I chose Zangoose as an alternate attacker because it lets the deck 2 shot Eternatus Vmax (I have considered a 2nd copy but i have not faced enough Eternatus to justify a 2nd copy) but its also good vs pretty much anything that is in KO range and its super easy to set up its attack. Bruno is AMAZING in the deck because it not only lets you shuffle resources into the deck for later and draw 7 cards and when you combine it with Oricorio GX you can draw 10 cards total just of those 2 cards alone which is pretty nuts. 2 Recycle Energy was plenty because once you see the first copy thats all you need and the draw pokemon help you see it much quicker. Finally 1 Energy Recycler for the late game to put energy back and that way you can draw into more energy.
