Deck Primer

This is a traditional Gengar Creep Show deck, and like some other variants uses Trevenant Break and Forest's Curse to item lock the opponent while putting on the 3 damage counters you need for Creep Show. Unlike many other Creep Show decks, this deck also utilizes Salamence V with Swoop Across to deal 30 damage to the entire opposing team too.

With Dimension Valley out in the later game, Phantump can use his evolve ability for free, Trevenant break can use Silent Fear for only 1 psychic energy, and all 3 evolutions of Gengar can use thier attacks for just 1 psychic energy each as well. Hense the low number of energies. The double colorless are to help power Salamence for swoop across, but in a pinch Heavy Storm hits hard too.

Guzma & Hala are there to get the any stadium or float stones out. The float stones are to get Trevenant and Salamence out of the way to let Gengar in when needed. Lysandres are to bring out any damaged pokemon hiding on the bench incase the opponent gets a fresh pokemon out after Trevenant and Salamence are done.
