Deck Primer

Deter, Delay, and Destroy.

I've been having loads of fun with this deck. As always, there is room for improvement (suggestions welcome!).

Early Game

If possible, by turn 2 you want:

- A Pokémon with Fetival Leader in the active spot (Dipplin (Twilight Masquerade) is preferable, but Swirlix (Twilight Masquerade) or Goldeen (Twilight Masquerade) work as well) and one on the bench. Put a Rescue Board (Twilight Masquerade) on a Festival Leader that isn't Dipplin (Twilight Masquerade).

- At least one

Early Game

If possible, by turn 2 you want:

Put a Rescue Board (Twilight Masquerade) on a Festival Leader that isn't Dipplin (Twilight Masquerade).

- At least one Thwackey (Twilight Masquerade) - two, if you can manage. And a Grookey (Twilight Masquerade) on the bench.

- If your opponent has a deck that likes to pick at the bench, a Rabsca (Temporal Forces).

- Festival Grounds (Twilight Masquerade) in hand or accessible.

Mid Game

Mercilessly pummel your opponents into the ground with Dipplin (Twilight Masquerade). Use Kieran (Twilight Masquerade) and Defiance Band (Scarlet & Violet) as needed. Your opponent will likely do one of three things:

1. Play Dipplin Whack-a-Mole. This is the most ideal option. You keep putting Dipplin's up, they keep knocking them down. Every time your Dipplin is KO'd, move your other Festival Leader into the active spot to keep those Thwackey's busy.

2. Target Thwackey. This is why there's two. It's also an opprtunity to get revenge on behalf of your supplier.

3. Target Rabsca. If you're up against a bench sniper, Rabsca will be targeted first. It's good to keep a Rellor on-hand if you need to.

If you're forced to engage in Stadium Warfare, just be tactical about when you place a Stadium for maximum effect. Rabsca does decent damage to follow Dipplin in a pinch.

Late Game

The late game is about board control and taking cards that give you the highest ROI. Swirlix (Twilight Masquerade) is strangely useful here, especially if your opponent has an ex on the bench that's 20-40 points away from KO.

Anyway, this deck has been hilariously fun. Let me know your thoughts!

1 Luminous Energy (Paldea Evolved) and 6 Basic Psychic Energy (151) looks wrong did your export/import not work, because I can't imagine this deck doing anything after the first Dipplin dies and takes the one Luminous Energy (Paldea Evolved) with it.

The Luminous Energy (Paldea Evolved) is for Swirlix (Twilight Masquerade), in the event you'll ever need to use its attack. Since every other attack only requires one Energy, I've been able to get by with only six.

Once the first Dipplin is KO'd, move in the Swirlix so you can keep using Thackey's Boom Boom Grrove, then retreat to move Dipplin back in.

But you put Psychic energy instead of grass energy...

Holy cow - how did I miss that? LOL
