The answer to the title is a hard no, since Darkrai vstar lost a heckofalot after rotation to the point where its almost unplayable (not that it was rly good before either). This deck uses some new tech from SFA in an attempt to make darkrai playable.

Specific cards:

Janine and dark patch - much needed acceleration

Pecharunt ex - not much a need for switches anymore

absol - vs mimikyu/prize trade loss

prime catcher - reusable with darkrai star power

binding mochi - synergy with

At the end of the day, the card itself still sucks; it takes a fat energies to even kill a bolt, and 10 to kill zard.

ig it makes sense as a backup, I'm just kinda unsure since then I'll have to resist the temptation to use okidogi as the main attacker since its attack is just so much more viable.
