Dead Man's Party (Steven's Cofagrigus) BB/WF

This deck utilises one of my favourite Pokemon, Cofagrigus, alongside Steven's Metagross to bolster the Iron Leg Pokemon's already very good survivability. The strategy here is fairly obvious - use Metagross as a damage sponge and then switch to Cofagrigus, which can be entirely energized by Metagross' X-Boot, to move said damage to an opponent's Pokemon to avoid a KO and force an uneven prize trade with Extended Damagriiigus. Which is a stupid name, by the way.

I'm running Moonlit Hill over Granite Cave mostly because it feels more consistent against decks like Dragapult, where you need both Carbink and the additional 30 HP provided by these stadiums to survive two attacks. The opponent can bump Granite Cave before attacking, whilst Moonlit Hill is activated during your turn and thus you have complete control over it (the heal is also useful against stall, for what it's worth). Other cards are self-explanatory, though I'm a little iffy on the Ace Spec. I was initially running Grand Tree as my Ace Spec but after testing Hero's Cape is a lot better, not only does it help to avoid OHKOs from higher damage cap attackers like Charizard ex but against lower damage cap attackers like Dragapult you can put it onto Mew or Squawkabilly to prevent them from being OHKO'd after a Boss.

In terms of matchups, the deck has done well against a majority of the meta. It struggles a bit against decks which run heavy counts of Dusknoir (Shrouded Fable) since that damage ignores Carbink's damage reduction, so it'll benefit a lot from the promo Psyduck* coming in Mega Evolution. Eevee TeraBox might seem like a difficult matchup, but you can use Mew ex's Genome Hacking to consistently use Flareon ex 's Carnelian against it for an OHKO.

//Other Options//

- I think Munkidori would be good here, allowing you to take KOs on weaker basic ex-es like Terapagos ex and the Ogerpons afrer an attack from Metagross. I really could not find space for the additional energy though, and a single Munki also misses the KO on the most popular basic ex Raging Giraffe. Maybe some Luminous Energy would work?

- I know some Metagross lists run Lillie's Clefairy ex, and whilst it would be nice to have an easily energized backup attacker I think the deck does fine into Dragapult already.

- Other assorted disruption cards like Tool Scrapper (to remove Brave Bangle and Maximum Belt) or Team Rocket's Watchtower could be beneficial, but I felt that they were so situational in this particular list that they weren't worth spending deck space on.
