This deck revolves around the relationship between Dark Gengar and Misdreavus.

Dark Gengar's Deep Sleep makes it much more difficult for opponent's Pokemon to wake up - making it much more consistent to land Misdreavus' Perish Song for a one-hit KO. 

The problem that usually arises is that Misdreavus then gets thwacked by whatever your opponent puts out next since they get a free shot, but that where Focus Band and Defenders come in handy - to give Misdreavus a chance to not get one-shot.

Alls make ramping up to 3 Psychic energies on Misdreavus easier, and even if the Misdreavus plan fails - Dark Gengar is a force to be reckoned with on it's own with a Pokemon Power that supports it's own attacks. Putting a Fossil Haunter and Fossil Gengar into the mix to do the finishing 10dmg on opponent's Pokemon with Curse might not be a bad idea, but I wasn't sure where to make room for them.
