Deep Sea King is basically Kingdra's ability name and the deck resolve around it. Not like what most deck want, this deck wants to go second. Why? Because: 1. Your opponent does not get to surprise KO on turn 2 with easy attacker such as BRS Raikou V + melony + attachment. the ideal start is diancie front. On the first turn use Battle VIP Pass or use Irida to get the item. Get a Squirtle and 2 Horsea to bench, another Diance or Manaphy if possible. Next turn evolve

Next turn evolve to Blastoise ASAP and Kingdra to follow up every turn. now the thing is Blastoise attaching 6 water energy to itself will reach 270 damage, Kingdra damage with energy from Blastoise (asuming its dead) + attachment, will reach 280. That will KO Vstars, with one more energy even Vmaxes.
