Who needs to take Prize Cards? Not Durant!

The Durant (Battle Styles)  Mill deck has become a persistent contender on the versus ladder of PTCGO lately and for good reason. It’s busted! Durant’s attack “Devour” allows you to discard the top card of your opponent’s deck for the number of Durants that you have in play. So, what is the strategy of this deck? Get all four of your Durant’s into play and hit the devour button to mill cards.

The most satisfying part of this deck is seeing your opponent mill their VSTAR’s and VMAX Pokémon with zero ways to get them back into their decks. They are simply just gone and it feels so good.

A staple in this deck and arguably the one single card that made this deck playable is the new Hisuian Heavy Ball (Astral Radiance) . This card allows you to get you uncooperative Durants hiding in your prize cards out into the bench.

Other contenders for best cards in the deck are Cursed Shovel (Rebel Clash) and Rescue Carrier (Evolving Skies)  Given that our Durants are easily OHKO’d cursed shovel will make your opponent mill an additional two cards once the Durant has been knocked out. After that, Rescue Carrier allows us to get that Durant right back into our hand!

Addtionally, Yell Horn (Darkness Ablaze) forces our opponent's Pokemon to be confused and gives them a chance to hurt themselves in combat. Meanwhile, we are able to Scoop Up Net (Rebel Clash) our confused Durant in order to put one in play with a Double Turbo Energy (Astral Radiance) or Twin Energy (Rebel Clash) attached and devour them!

Lastly, Galar Mine (Rebel Clash)  makes this sort of a prison deck for our opponents as it makes it extremely difficult for them to retreat into the Pokémon that they may want in play. You can’t escape the ants!

Now get out there and mill some cards with this deck!

If the deck is not playing Bosses or Pokemon Catchers, then Galar Mine is not very good.

I would instead switch that stadium to the Pokestop stadium.

Thanks for the suggestion. My thought process is that Galar Mine is still going to be a pain for them regardless. Whereas, with poke stop stadium, if they know they are playing against Durant Mill then they just aren't going to use it to mill themselves.
