Donphan's Ability lets it tank a hit with 10 HP remaining. These are the uses of this:

1. Obviously, it gets to live another turn

2. This can be reused using emergency jelly or Last Chance Potion (Celestial Storm) 

3. Phanpy's attack can be used via Celebi or Relicanth for 330 damage.

4. Emergency jelly heals all HP after attacking making it better than Last Chance Potion (Celestial Storm) 

This deck does have one MAJOR weakness.

anything that taps damage counters disables Donphan's ability as well as prevents Emergency Jelly from working. Mallow and Lana can slightly counter this but not completely as damage counter tappers typically attack the same turn they tap.
