This is my version of the criminally underrated doublade weaponized swords deck.

The Strategy:

The main strat is to go second, allowing you to hopefully get a petrel and petrel for precious trolley. After playing trolly your active should be a honedge with a bench of 2 genesect ex, fez, another honedge, and whatever you need to face your opponent (usually beldum, but can be shaymin or psyduck)

Then just use genesect ex's ability to grab all the metal type evolution pokemon you need. Attach an energy

After playing trolly your active should be a honedge with a bench of 2 genesect ex, fez, another honedge, and whatever you need to face your opponent (usually beldum, but can be shaymin or psyduck)

Then just use genesect ex's ability to grab all the metal type evolution pokemon you need. Attach an energy to active honedge, and then next turn do it again or use metang's ability to hopefully get another. By turn two you should have a fully charged doublade swinging for at least 300 damage.

The key is always having another doublade ready to go, because they will get knocked out. A lot. Use Phillipe to instantly charge a new doublade.

Notes:

Against single prize attacking decks that rely on mega kangaskhan for draw, heavily rely on boss's orders to get a free 3 prize cards. In fact, always target megas and ex cards with a boss if you can over a single prize attacker.

Yeah but this deck was made for standard format and aegislash ex rotated out of format in April.
