The Early Game:

Building the Fortress

Your priority is getting 3 Cynthia’s Gible and 1 Cynthia’s Roselia onto the bench by Turn 1.

Poffin & Gong: Use Buddy-Buddy Poffin for Gible/Roselia. Use Fighting Gong to grab the energy you need for a Turn 2 attack.

Hilda Chain: Hilda is your most important Supporter. She finds your Stage 2 Garchomp ex and a Fighting Energy in one go. If you have Rare Candy, you skip the Gabite phase entirely to pressure the opponent's Basics.

Ideal Board State:

Active:

Garchomp ex (with Cynthia’s Power Weight).

Bench:

1 Garchomp ex (backing up)

2 Roserade (buffing damage)

1 Spiritomb (late-game insurance).

The Mid-Game:

The Iron Wall Math

Once Garchomp ex is active, you utilize its massive bulk to win the prize trade.

The 400 HP Barrier: A standard Garchomp ex has 330 HP. Attaching Cynthia’s Power Weight (+70 HP) brings it to 400 HP.

The 320 Damage Threshold: You need to hit 320+ to OHKO opposing Stage 2 ex Pokémon.

Draconic Buster: 260 Base

Roserade Ability: Cheer On to Glory: +30

Premium Power Pro (Tool/Item): +30

Total: 320 Damage. (Add a second Roserade for 350).

The Late Game:

Disruption & The 7th Prize

When your first Garchomp ex finally falls, you transition into disruption to prevent the opponent from taking their final prizes.

Unfair Stamp + Watchtower: After a KO, play Unfair Stamp to put your opponent at 2 cards, then play Team Rocket's Watchtower. This shuts down their Ability-based draw engines.

The Spiritomb Trap: Cynthia’s Spiritomb is your Closer. Its attack, Raging Curse, does 10x damage for every damage counter on your benched Cynthia Pokémon.

Because your Garchomps have 400 HP, they often sit on the bench with 200+ damage after retreating.

Math: If you have two damaged Garchomps on the bench with 200 damage each, Spiritomb hits for 400 damage for just 1 Energy. Since Spiritomb only gives up 1 Prize, it forces the opponent into a 7-prize game (2+2+2+1).
