The goal is to take early game control by eliminating key Basic Pokémon before they evolve into more threatening forms. As an aggressive deck, you prioritize doing significant damage every turn, making Dragapult ex the ideal choice with its ability to deal 200 damage to the Active Pokémon while distributing 60 damage to your opponent's Benched Pokémon in any way you like. This flexibility in spreading damage allows you to efficiently take out low-HP Basic Pokémon across the board, such as Pidgeys, Charmanders, Bidoofs, and Duskulls, all of which are popular choices in many current strategies. By knocking out these Pokémon early, you disrupt your opponent’s evolution plans, slowing their momentum and denying them the opportunity to fully develop their strategy.
